Marghi village, Yakawlang district, Bamyan province

A complete new school for over 600 students which include:

• 6 classrooms, equipped with 120 benches and tables 
• One teacher room furnished with meeting chair and table 
• A toilet block
• A garbage collection
• A volleyball field
• A water well 

Started in September 2020, the construction completion was celebrated in August 2021.

The village of Marghi also benefited from the contribution of a generous donor who financed the renovation of the old school building, making it more resistant to the harsh winter conditions and more attractive to the villagers.

Both building were officially opened in November 2021, in the presence of the provincial and local authorities, schoolgirls and the community. Together, the two facilities represent an incentive to study for students and their families.
